“When it comes to my why, it’s simple. Harrisburg is a city that has an enormous amount of talent and resources, yet Harrisburg tends to get overlooked due to bad publicity and what seems to be minimum opportunities. Being a founder of The Weekender has created a real opportunity for Levels Ready Entertainment, the Harrisburg Housing Authority (HHA), and other community partners to shift those negative stereotypes into positive memories thanks to the caliber of both local and national talent and entrepreneur experts that are introduced to the residents of HHA and its surrounding neighbors. The Weekender also provides a safe environment that our youth enjoy and adults can trust year after year. It’s safe to say seeing my hometown and those who live here in a positive light is certainly my why.”
